4.6-acre site in Frankford. Outside there is play equipment, a sprinkler and pool, hockey and soccer court, and sports fields. The one-room building includes a gymnasium and multi-purpose room. In 1953 the site was named for Private Alfred J. Simpson. Simpson was 21 when he was killed in France during WWII. He was born and raised in Frankford.
