This 9.5-acre site has playground equipment and a sprinkler, sports fields, hockey and basketball courts. The one-room building includes a multi-purpose room. In 1979 the site was named in honor of James J. Ramp, a police officer killed in the line of duty. Ramp was a Marine who served in WWII and Korea. He and his family lived half a block away on Arthur Street.
